In July I traveled to Faber, Virginia to photograph members of the Synchronicity Foundation for Modern Spirituality. Led by Master Charles Cannon, the group traveled to India last year where two members were killed during the Mumbai terrorist attacks. The article, beautifully written by April Witt, talks about how their spirituality allowed group members to heal after this terrible tragedy. It was my first chance to work with picture editor Evan Kriss and I really enjoyed the collaboration.
