This year David Walter Banks and Kendrick Brinson will lead a workshop at the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar in Atlanta, Georgia December 4, 2009. They are honored to be a part of the workshop that they volunteered for as students at UGa. Their workshop, titled “Life After Newspapers,” will include information about working with Luceo Images, making time for personal projects, how to market yourself, photographing weddings together and more. Both Banks and Brinson started their photojournalism careers at southern newspapers.

Both photographers are offering signed prints to those who email Kendrick (kendrickbrinson@luceoimages.com) saying you’ve registered for their Friday workshop (subject line ‘free print’).

The early registration deadline for the 2009 Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar is Monday November 16th, if you want to save some money. The contest entry deadline is Nov. 13.
