I arrived in Vietnam in March of 2008. I photographed everything. I had projects in which I chose to work on but overall I was fairly unfocused. This year was my first full year in Vietnam and I was determined to find my purpose. In the process I found a common theme in my work … a theme to focus my book on. This process meant less shooting and more time spent on research and contemplation. But some times you need this time to build. It’s just as important as a shooting year. This group of images represent moments that both define my year, but more importantly, they are personal to me. Chúc mừng năm mới!

Dear Kevin,
I accessed Luceo website through the work of Matt Eich work on SDN, and discover your work. I have to say that I really like your work. You and Matt are so young and already so talented.
I know that I am not a professional photographer but I know also that I can appreciate talented works.
Thanks for sharing all the good work.
Philippe
