I recently had the chance to spend time with friend and fellow Denver photographer, Mike Cerda, for an interview that is featured in the latest edition of Illiterate Magazine. The Colorado-based publication and gallery features art, literature, and culture and has been a repository of good stuff from a variety of western talent including some of my favorite Denverites at Rhinoceropolis and Glob. Mike’s transcription of the interview must have been a pretty painful process. He got every f-bomb and bracketed chuckle. Huge thanks to Illiterate and Mike for the piece. Read the whole interview (and get a look at my beautiful mug) here: http://www.illiteratemedia.com/featured/53

Cool, Peter. Glad you liked it. Spend a lot of time thinking about that stuff and the bigger relationship between journalism, culture, and art. Hard for me to box each piece in and really felt like Mike’s questions helped parse some of that out.
