It is so hard to boil a year down to a handful of photographs. In a way your selection defines how you view your artistic trajectory as well as the events you witnessed within that period of time. 2009 was an incredible year, full of highs and lows, a lot of lessons and more beautiful moments than I could even wrap my head around, much less manage to document. All that said, the images that I ended up with for this “year in pictures” selection were all in some small way revelations for me; reminders to let go and savor the little moments that so define us.

got a chance to catch my breath and look over people’s work i admire. was nice to see this wrap up of your work. always inspiring man. triggered me to look at what 2009 meant to me.
