I tell myself I don’t travel that much, but it has been more frequent lately. There are times when the only way I can interact with my family and watch my daughter grow is via Skype, from afar. I still feel compelled to photograph them even then, so I will take screen shots of our conversations. I just found a folder of images I made while talking to Melissa during my time in Amsterdam. I always say this, but Madelyn puts time into context  for me; allowing me to realize how quickly it moves. It is such a relief to be able to see my family at the end of a long day sometimes.
