LUCEO would like to echo a couple of exciting pieces of news from our friends at PhotoShelter and from Mike Davis, editor extraordinaire.

Photoshelter recently announced the release of a tutorial full of tips for photographers who use social media.  The handy guide is available on their site and features thoughts from Kendrick Brinson.  Download it here.

We are also exceptionally pleased to help spread word of Mike Davis’ newest venture as a freelance picture editor.  The most exciting thing about his business is that he’s making his services available to individual photographers – something that will become increasingly relevant and valuable as larger organizations continue to downsize and lose staff.  Photographers need good editors and Davis has been a key player in editing for several of us at LUCEO, including Matt Eich and Kevin German.  Mike’s resume speaks for itself, from the White House to National Geographic (and everything in between).
