About this image:
“I am not really a sports fan. Most sports bored me until I became a photographer. The Masters, however, is a different beast altogether. It’s a massive event that golf fans fly from all around the world to watch. The past three years, the entire week is spent focusing on catching peek action, although I am naturally most drawn to the less obvious scenes that wouldn’t run on the front of a sports section–the wide, scenic shots, the behind the scenes workers as they take breaks under stands with fans, the graphic scenes as the massive crowds wind from green to green. Those are the photos I can’t stop from taking and what draws my eyes to the event every year.” -Kendrick Brinson
