From the Archive is a regular column that features one image from our archive and appears every Thursday. LUCEO Images has a thorough group archive (keyword search bar, top right) and it can be found here.

This week we are featuring a hip hop portrait from David Walter Banks, who is based in Georgia.
About this Image:
“Atlanta producer Bangladesh was a true bad-ass on our 2008 shoot. Unlike so many pretty-boys in the hip hop industry, Bangladesh wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. I don’t mean that as a metaphor in any way either. We ventured down into the boiler-room of an old factory building to get a gritty feel. It doesn’t stop there though. Not only was he up for doing the shoot down there, he even climbed up onto the old furnace and through the tiny metal door leading into the building’s smokestack. Certainly not a place for those scared of the things that go bump in the night. For more images of Bangladesh, plug his name into our archive search bar, or just type ‘music’ to browse through more music-related shoots.” – David Walter Banks
