This week’s Transience post hails from a drive through Valley of Fire State Park. As I tried to put into words the tranquil surreal feeling of coasting down a dawn-to-dusk road, a different story revealed itself in the images. As much as I try to analyze and examine the images I make as I make them, it’s sometimes best to just follow your instincts and allow the photograph to reveal itself to you long after you created it in your camera.
So I encourage you dear reader to create your own story from the images in this week’s column. Feel free to write that story in the comment section – I’m interested to hear what you come up with.
