As I further analyzed my thoughts from my last column, I’ve developed a theory which future shoots in the project will study.  Transience will explore a theory on why so many find the lure of the road so irresistible.  This sociological theory suggests that we are not drawn to the road itself, but all the small gaps between and the little flashes of memory imprinted upon us along the way.  Furthermore, these small slices of memory collectively evoke an idea that we attribute to being on the road.  If this idea is a positive one, then so is perception of travel.  Transience is an exploration of this idea through personal reflection on the mood and emotions conjured up within myself.

These images focus simply on line and form of the road and the stops along the way that I often find myself lost in.
