As soon as I got home from my three week bus tour with the Tea Party, I headed down to LA to shoot a fashion feature for FADER Magazine. It was a complete switching of gears from one to the other, but it turned out to be a much needed break. The assignment was wide open, to hit the streets of LA with NY fashion stylist Mobolaji Dawodu and two duffles full of clothing and find people to wear them. We worked both locally and took some summer road trips. Getting strangers to trust us was the easy part, finding the right souls proved much trickier. In the end we met some really amazing people who were very gracious with their time and were great fun to boot. Thanks to JFP for the incredibly fun assignment, for giving me the freedom to do what I wanted and for putting together such a nice edit.
