I’m excited to have the image above included in The Houston Center for Photography’s 2012 Print Auction. I received the 2011 HCP Fellowship for my Sun City: Life After Life essay and really appreciate everything HCP does for photographers.

The show, which includes some really incredible photos (including one by Henri Cartier-Bresson), has been on display at the Texas gallery from January 20, 2012 to February 20, 2012. Anne Tucker and Clint Willour gave a tour of the auction photos this week.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 22, 2012, the auction to benefit HCP will take place.

I got to attend Atlanta Celebrates Photography’s auction as a One to Watch in 2011 and it is absolutely amazing to witness the energy of an art auction. The feeling of support for artists is overwhelming and makes the experience incredibly unique. This isn’t to be missed!
